I’ve already shared my favorite boxing application here, and now I’d like to show you another app that I use for developing my body. This application helps you to improve your speed, strength, stability, endurance and cardio. I can say it is an all in one solution for anyone who wants to enhance his physical condition or want to lose weight. And the best is that you do not even have to go to the gym since most of the workouts include bodyweight exercises. Or you just need a pair of dumbbells.
This application is the MMA Spartan System 3.0. There is a free version that includes fewer workout routines, but I think it provides enough possibilities for the average man. The paid version, which costs only a few bucks, is packed with more advanced routines as well as programs and nutritional tips.
Why I love it so much?
It comes with an exercise library in which 80 exercises are presented with videos. I’ve been working out for several years, but from this library I learned several effective moves. I’ve already included them in my workout routine. I especially love the bodyweight moves.
You can filter exercises by muscle groups. It lets you set up your own routine by picking the activities you want to do. But the beauty of the application is that you can not only set the reps and sets but also the time. Hence, it is possible to create High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workouts.
On the other hand, you can find ready to do workouts as well. There are ones for developing strength, speed, endurance, weight loss. There are also workouts for one particular muscle group and various levels.
I have downloaded a few fitness apps in my life, but none of them provided such tough workouts that are suitable even for athletes. To tell the truth, some of them are so hard to finish, that I’m a bit of afraid to start them. 🙂 But, thanks to them my endurance and strength are the best I have ever had in my life.
If the ready to do and custom workout possibilities were not enough, you can get complete plans as well. That means you are told which workouts you should do day by day for a month or more. Of course, there are ones for beginners and advanced trainees.
By the way, when you do the workouts you can see how to perform the exercises, which muscles are worked, the time, and you are alerted when the time is over.
Thanks to these excellent features this is the only app I use for working out. It allows me to plan my training routine in a flexible way and I never get bored. It has helped me a lot to create a system that supports my boxing workouts and aims as well.
