1. Everlast Single-Station Heavy Bag Stand – Affordable

The Everlast Single Station stand is a basic model without any additional features such as a speed bag platform. But, that’s why it’s the cheapest product on the list.

It has a steel-tubing frame with a powder-coated finish. It weighs about 55 pounds, which isn’t much. We need to fix it to the floor using bolts or weight plates. Otherwise, it’ll wobble too much. There are three weight plate pegs on the bottom stabilizers to place the weights (there aren’t included).

Everlast says it can hold a heavy punching bag of up to 100 pounds. That weight limit is enough for most of us, but it requires careful attaching to the ground to avoid shaking. I say it is suitable for bags weighs 80 pounds and below.

The footprint is 57 “L x 47.6 “W, so it’s relatively compact. The hanger height is about 7 feet from the ground, which means we can attach a traditional boxing bag.

Pros

  • Easy to assemble
  • Compact design
  • Well-build construction for fair usage
  • Affordable
  • For indoor and outdoor use

Cons

  • Not for big hitters
  • We should use plenty of weight to stop wobbling.

Is the Everlast single station punching bag stand for you?

If you want to use a bag of about 80-pound or under and need a compact and budget stand for mediocre boxing training, then it’s a good buy.

2. Everlast Heavy Bag Stand with Speed Bag Platform – The Best Buy for Home

This Everlast boxing stand has almost the same features as the previous one (100 lb capacity, 86.2″ height). The only difference is that it comes with a speed bag platform that makes our boxing workout more versatile.

It comes with an adjustable platform that is compatible with all the typical sped bag sizes. We can set the platform to our height during the assembly, which is required for effective speed bagging. The platform isn’t the most professional, but average usage, it will do.

Compared to the single station one, this Everlast boxing bag stand is more stable since it weighs 73 pounds. But, still, proper heightening is required for good stability.

Pros

  • Improve punching and boxing techniques
  • 100-pound weight capacity.
  • Adjustable platform
  • Fit with all bag sizes

Cons

  • Good for moderate workouts
  • A bit complicated to put together

Is the Everlast dual station punching bag stand for you?

If you need a versatile holder for average level training, it’s a good purchase. Advanced athletes should look for a more robust item, just like the next one, and a more professional platform.

Note: If you don’t have a punching bag and reflex ball yet, then you’d better invest in this bundle. It includes a 100 lb heavy punching bag with NEVATEAR synthetic leather exterior and blended filling for adequate shock absorbency. And with a medium-sized speed bag with a durahide leather design that rebounds well.

3. Everlast Pro Boxing Bag Stand

As its name suggests, this Everlast stand is made for professionals and costs far more than the others. It’s used in commercial boxing gyms.

Thanks to heavy-duty ¼” and 11 gauge steel tubing and it’s corner design, the stand can hold a punching bag up to 400 lbs. Hence, it’s perfect for big hitters and any combat sports.

The footprint is 68″ X 44″ with wide stabilizers at the front with pre-drilled holes to drill it to the floor. The corner design also makes it very stable.

The height is 94.5″. That means we can hang long punching bags, such as Muay Thai.

Pros

  • Ultra stable
  • Max weight: 400 lb
  • Suitable for hanging long bags
  • Commercially grade
  • Ideal for any martial arts

Cons

  • Expensive

FAQ

What about the Everlast MMA Omni Strike Stand?

This is the Everlast punching bag stand with pull up bar, but I don’t talk much about it since it doesn’t function as it should. The idea is excellent for making a machine with multiple workout sections, but it wobbles, breaks, and is uncomfortable to use.

How much weight do I need to hold the stand?

That depends on the weight of the bag, but the more, the better. I think for each peg, put at least 30 pounds. If it’s possible, drill it to the floor or put a rubber gym mat under it.

How tall should the stand be?

7 feet tall punching bag stands are suitable for hanging traditional boxing bags, 3-5 feet long. But, for long equipment, we need at least 8 feet tall holder.

To sum up

I hope you know which Everlast heavy bag stand is the best for you. In a nutshell, these items are great for at-home boxing training. If you still can’t decide, check out our best punching bag stand guide with other brands.

Hi there, I'm Imre. I started boxing when I was 15, but nowadays I hit my old, dirty heavy bag at home (you know, family, business, etc.) I love boxing so much, so I made this blog to help people get started with it (at home).
